Aspire Fine Homes (then called Whitestone Builders) was founded by David Gordon in 2004 with the goal of reinventing the custom home building process. As a native Houstonian, David’s interest in building came at a very young age as he watched houses being built from his bedroom window. Growing up in a new subdivision, he watched the construction process on the lots around his home and wondered about one day building houses himself.

After graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in Construction Management, David started Whitestone Builders, to design and build high-end luxury homes. It was during these early years that David began to understand that the complexity, tedium and delay inherent in the traditional custom home building process often resulted in frustrated, unhappy clients and has made it his mission ever since to reinvent it.

David’s vision included more than just building award-winning luxury homes. He knew that the entire industry could be doing things differently to make the home building process easier, faster, and more efficient. When the company changed its name to Aspire Fine Homes, it also began to embody a new approach, encapsulated by The Aspire Way.
